VCDS VAG COM VAGCOM 912 HEX CAN USB
Read before you order:
- 1. VAGCOM 912 has the same function as VAGCOM 908, it just support more car models than vagcom 908, not other updates.
- 2. Almost VW, AUDI cars before 2010 year are supported! We can NOT guarantee on all 2010 year cars. And we can NOT 100% guarantee it supports your car, as we can not test every models. Consider before you order it, we can NOT offer you a correct support car list now.
- 3. We only have English version software. We only guarantee it works well on Windows XP.? Please use the software provide by our disk only, do NOT use original software which will disable the cable.
- 4. Our vagcom cables can only read and erase error codes, can NOT programming or make parameter adaptions
Install tips: -
1. Make sure that software and drivers are installed correctly from the supplied disc.
2. Connected cable to computer, but NOT connect to car, make sure you see [picture 1] as showed below.
3. Run the software, in the option menu press test and save.
4. Close the VCDS software and connect to car., put the ignition key on, without starting engine.
5. Start VCDS software and make the test again.
6. Enjoy it.
If occur error while test, like "interface not found", no response, please try following changes: -
7. Change system time befor November of 2008, for example 20/10/2008
8. Change computer for test.
If unfortunatley all tries are fail, please contact us for help. Please tell us which steps you failed, and capture a screen shot for us.? Don't worry, we are here to help you.

?1. Use a Windows XP computer.
2. Change the computer date into 2009 Feb 5.
3. Close the antivirus software.
4. Don't update the cable with original software.
Our software only works well with 32bit Windows XP.? Windows Vista or Windows 7, 64bit computer ?may not support well. (though some customer has success install the cable on Vista and work well(specify the USB driver manually), but we can not guarantee)
Please do NOT use original software of 912. It will disable the cable! Only use the software we provide.

Beta versions contain new features and functions that have not yet been as fully tested as have Release versions. If you use a Beta, you may find bugs or problems and you are expected to report them to us so that we can fix them before making a new Release. Please be sure that you have also installed the latest version on your computer as well so that you can revert back to using that if you encounter problems with the Beta.
Beta 912.0 includes the following new features and improvements:
Basic Settings for latest Control Modules using UDS/ODX/ASAM protocols.
As is the case for other functions under UDS, there are no longer any channel or group numbers. Instead, the Basic Setting to be performed must be selected from a drop-down list:
On UDS control modules which offer "Instructions", VCDS will automatically display them:

Added ability to view Measuring Values during UDS Output Tests. This can be handy to verify that certain outputs are functioning as intended:
